Kilimanjaro offers two dedicated cycling experiences. Summit-bound riders tackle the Kilema Route, the mountain's only bikeable trail to the crater, while those after a shorter adventure cruise the sweeping Shira Plateau.
Both routes are fitted with picnic sites and rest points, and reward cyclists with changing vegetation zones, big-sky views and a genuinely unique way to experience the Roof of Africa. Guided rides can be tailored to your fitness level and the time you have available.
